An OB-GYN can provide menopause care as part of women's health practice. A dedicated menopause clinic may offer longer visits or a narrower focus. The better fit depends on expertise, access, complexity and whether other gynecologic care is needed.

Longevity clinics sit at the intersection of conventional preventive medicine, cash-pay services, telehealth, diagnostics and elective wellness. That makes it easy to compare clinics on surface features instead of the parts that affect care: who is responsible for medical decisions, what a test or treatment is intended to accomplish, how evidence is explained, what follow-up exists and what the full cost will be.
A useful clinic should be able to explain the purpose of each major test or treatment in plain language, identify material risks and alternatives, and state when it would refer a patient elsewhere. For services with uncertain or emerging evidence, the clinic should distinguish research interest from established clinical benefit.
Identify the clinician who will actually evaluate you, not only the medical director shown in marketing. Confirm an active professional license in the state where you receive care, and verify any board certification, specialty credential or advanced training the clinician publicly claims. Also ask who remains responsible for follow-up after intake.
Ask whether the clinic provides primary care, a concierge membership, a one-time assessment, telehealth treatment, elective wellness services, or some combination. Similar branding can hide very different levels of medical continuity.
A long biomarker list is not automatically useful. For each major test, ask what clinical question it answers, who interprets it, and what the clinic would do differently if the result were normal or abnormal.
Separate intake fees, membership, labs, imaging, medication, supplements, procedures and follow-up. A low entry price can be misleading when most of the care sits outside that number.
Does the clinician's training match the issue you are bringing to the clinic? Is the practice equipped to recognize when you need a specialist, urgent care or conventional disease management?
Can the clinic distinguish established screening or treatment from elective, off-label, compounded or investigational offerings? Ask for the exact product or test rather than relying on category labels.
Who reviews results, adjusts treatment and handles problems after the first visit? A polished intake is not the same as longitudinal care.
Ask for the first-year total, including membership, labs, imaging, medication, supplements, shipping and optional procedures. Compare like with like.
Use this guide to define what you need, then compare clinics by specialty or location. When two search intents overlap heavily, we keep them on one substantial page rather than creating a second thin page.
